Earth: Path of Sovereignty
This lesson corresponds with Chapter 12 - Element of Earth and the Path of Sovereignty starting on page 229 in the book. For best retention, we recommend reading the chapter before watching the lesson videos.
Welcome to Earth! Path of Sovereignty.
Welcome to Earth! Path of Sovereignty.
Beginning after the Sabbat of Samhain, we set off on our Elemental Witchcraft journey to explore the path of sovereignty through the elemental earth mysteries.
Solar Tides
This path is divided into two parts, which are known as the solar tides:
The waning Yuletide - from Samhain to Yule.
During this tide, you’ll explore the projective elemental earth mystery: to be silent.
The waxing Imbolctide - from Yule to Imbolc.
During this tide, you’ll explore the receptive elemental air mystery: to resonate.
Lunar Tides
There are three Earth Path ritual workings to time with the three lunar tides within the solar period between Samhain and Imbolc:
Lunar tide 1: You’ll craft formulary materials for earth rituals and spells
Auspicious Timing - Exercise 5: Earth Formulary Crafting: Waxing moon in earth sign and/or days/hours of Venus (Friday) or Saturn (Saturday)
Lunar Tide 2: You’ll take a ritual journey to the realms of elemental earth
Auspicious Timing - Ritual 4: Elemental Earth Temple - Waxing moon in earth sign and/or days/hours of Venus (Friday) or Saturn (Saturday)
Lunar Tide 3: You’ll perform a spell with planetary earth, Venus, and Saturn for holistic balancing of your physical needs and strengthening your personal sovereignty
Auspicious Timing - Spell 1: I am the Magick - Waxing moon in earth sign and/or days/hours of Venus (Friday) or Saturn (Saturday)
☆ If you haven’t already done so, use Worksheet 2: Moon Cycles from Lesson 11.1 to help you fill in your chosen auspicious time for these three main ritual workings in Worksheet 3.
Make sure to then transfer these dates to your main calendar to be sure you don’t miss them!
How to Work Through the Earth Lesson:
