Air: Path of Truth
This lesson corresponds with Chapter 13 - Element of Air and the Path of Truth starting on page 261 in the book. For best retention, we recommend reading the chapter before watching the lesson videos.
Welcome to Air! Path of Truth.
Welcome to Air! Path of Truth.
After the Sabbat of Imbolc, we continue on our Elemental Witchcraft journey to explore the path of truth through the elemental air mysteries.
Solar Tides
This path is divided into two parts, which are known as the solar tides:
The waning Ostaratide - from Imbolc to Ostara.
During this tide, you’ll explore the projective elemental air mystery: to know.
The waxing Beltanetide - from Ostara to Beltane.
During this tide, you’ll explore the receptive elemental air mystery: to wonder.
Lunar Tides
There are three Air Path ritual workings to time with the three lunar tides within the solar period between Imbolc and Beltane:
Lunar tide 1: You’ll craft formulary materials for air rituals and spells
Auspicious Timing - Exercise 8: Air Formulary Crafting - Waxing moon in air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) and/or day/hour of Mercury (Wednesday)
Lunar Tide 2: You’ll take a ritual journey to the realms of elemental air
Auspicious Timing - Ritual 5: Elemental Air Temple - Waxing moon in air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) and/or day/hour of Mercury (Wednesday)
Lunar Tide 3: You’ll perform a two-part spell with planetary Saturn and Mercury for expression of your personal truths.
Auspicious Timing - Spell 2: Saturn’s Reckoning Jar - Waning moon in Capricorn and/or on Saturday
Auspicious Timing - Spell 3: Merucry’s Truth Jar - Waxing moon in an air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) and or day/hour of Mercury (Wednesday)
